Samsung Electronics Germany recently had a really fun promotion to go hand-in-hand with the launch of the GALAXY S4 zoom. On July 25th, they began a campaign on Facebook where users were encouraged to submit up to 10 photos from their personal lives to be printed in a photo album. The mission? To break the Guinness World Records™ for The Largest Photobook in the World. They calculated that in order to do this, they would need at least 10,000 photos.
In the course of this 10-day campaign, over 10 million Facebook users visited the page, and roughly 36,000 photos were submitted. Out of the bunch, 28,000 were selected to be printed in the 5m x 8m, 16-page album.   The GALAXY S4 zoom Helps Set a World Record On September 7th, the Guinness World Records™ paid a visit to the Berlin Museum for Communication (Museum für Kommunikation Berlin), where the album was on display, and officially crowned it “The Largest Photobook in the World.”
