Norwegian company Opera Software announced that its revenue in the third quarter of 2013 increased 34% year on year and reached the level of 75.5 million.
Key financial indicators of the third quarter of 2013 :
Revenue grew by 34% year on year to 75.5 million U.S. dollars;
EBIT was up 14% year on year to 15.6 million U.S. dollars;
Adjusted EBITDA increased by 22.5% year on year to U.S. $ 32 million;
Free cash flow was $ 15.8 million versus U.S. $ 4.3 million in the third quarter of 2012.
Performance of the third quarter of 2013 :
Revenue Unit Mobile Operators increased by 64% year on year to 17.1 million.
Mobile Consumers
Revenue fell 11% year on year to 7.6 million U.S. dollars;
The number of users of mobile products Opera has grown by 26% year on year to 262 million people;
The number of users of mobile products Opera on the Android platform has increased by 131% year on year to 75.3 million.
Mobile Publishers & Advertisers
Revenue grew by 110% year on year to 29.6 million U.S. dollars;
The total number of mobile ad impressions grew by 44% compared to the third quarter of 2012 and amounted to 172 billion.
Desktop Consumers
Revenue fell 25% year on year to 13.8 million U.S. dollars;
The number of users of desktop products at Opera decreased 7% year on year to 51 million.
Revenue Unit Device OEMs grew by 61% year on year to U.S. $ 6.8 million.
