EE, the UK’s most advanced digital communications company, today announces an exciting range of market-leading 4G business plans, designed to offer the UK’s best value and choice for small businesses wanting a superfast mobile service.
From 30 October, EE will take a new two-tiered approach to 4G pay monthly handset plans. EE will introduce 4GEE Extra, the ultimate range of 4G business plans with the biggest mobile data allowances and world leading speeds. All 4GEE Extra business plans come with unlimited calls and texts and, from £41 per month[1], also include 180 international minutes to call Europe, USA and Canada.
EE will also introduce a new range of the most affordable 4GEE handset business plans available, making 4G accessible to even more small businesses than before. The new range offers data, minutes and texts at lower price points, starting at £23 per month.
Supporting the day-to-day running of small business customers
EE has packed the new 4GEE and 4GEE Extra plans with valuable software extras and inclusive features to support the day-to-day running of its small business customers, helping them to make the most of 4G. All plans include McAfee Online Security, free for 12 months[2] on smartphones and tablets, while 4GEE Extra sharing plans also benefit from 100GB of Box file storage and sharing software[3], free for six months, and GoTo Meeting web conferencing software[4], saving customers time and money.
Added bonus
All new 4GEE and 4GEE Extra business customers on pay monthly handset plans will have their mobile data allowance boosted to a massive 10GB each month, for no extra charge, when they sign up to EE’s unlimited Fixed Broadband service. If a customer chooses a 4GEE pay monthly handset plan of £46 per month or more, then EE will boost their allowance to an even bigger 20GB.

New 4GEE Extra plans with world leading speeds and inclusive international minutes
EE’s new supercharged range of 4GEE Extra 24-month handset plans include:
180 international minutes for calls to Europe, USA and Canada, starting at £41 per month
Unlimited UK calls and texts, and the biggest 4G mobile data allowances available
A range of value-packed extras, including free business software, conference calling, Clone Phone Lite, unlimited Wi-Fi, next-day faulty phone replacement (excluding iPhone), and UK-based customer service
Plans start at £38 per month for 4GB of data and range up to £61 per month for a massive 36GB of data.
New entry-level 4GEE pay monthly handset plans from £23 per month
EE’s new range of entry-level 4GEE 24-month handset plans start at £23 per month, making 4G accessible to even more small businesses. The new plans, which offer download speeds up to 30Mbps and average speeds of 12-15Mbps*, complement the growing range of entry-level 4G smartphones available through EE. For £33 per month, customers get unlimited calls and texts, and 2GB of data.
4GEE Extra business plans for sharing
EE is also launching new 4GEE Extra plans for sharing, which allow businesses to share allowances across a number of business users and devices. The plans come with world leading 4G speeds and inclusive colleague-to-colleague and landline calls.
Starting at £15 per month, customers can share UK data, minutes and text add-ons with up to 50 users. What’s more, they can use these shared minutes and text bundles to call and text Europe, USA and Canada. And from £30 per month, customers get 1GB of individual data as well as 180 minutes of individual calls to Europe, USA and Canada, plus unlimited UK minutes and texts – unique to EE.
4GEE mobile broadband business plans
Finally, EE will also be introducing two new 24-month mobile broadband plans for tablets and mobile devices with big 20GB and 50GB data allowances, ideal for power users. All mobile broadband plans with a data allowance of 5GB or more will now come with world leading 4G speeds at no extra cost[5]. Plans start at £10.83 for 1GB of data on a 24-month device plan and range up to £41.67 for 50GB of data. Double speed 4G plans start at £17.49 per month.
Keeping one step ahead
EE continues to offer British businesses an unrivalled mobile network experience. EE’s double speed 4G network is now available in 20 cities and reaches a theoretical maximum top speed of 150Mbps, doubling average speeds to 24-30Mbps, while EE’s standard 4G service is available in 117 towns and cities, and covers more than 60% of the population.
To further extend its mobile data leadership, EE plans to trial a 300Mbps 4G network in London this year, with a wider roll-out planned in 2014. EE’s network is already the joint fastest network in the world, and this move will make it the number one for speed. Further details on the trial will be announced in due course.
