It has grown into some sort of fashion among phone manufacturer these days to claim their flagship devices to the best and fastest performing gadgets on earth. The lavish specs of such devices sound good on paper and make users optimistic about lag-free and powerful performance. XDA member stefan063 has discovered a very good and effective remedy to fix lag issue on LG’s current flagship device, the G2.

While most methods to solve lag issue on Android device demand root permission, the drill in discussion can be performed on any LG G2 on stock firmware whether it has root access or not. So, if you have been facing lag issue in general and in the camera app, the method described below can prove useful to you.

Open your phone’s dial pad and type the following code: 3845#*<model number>#. For example, type-
- 3845#*800# (for At&T model)
- 3845#*801# (for T-Mobile variants)
- 3845#*802# (for European variants)
- 3845#*803# (for AT&T and Canadian variants)
Doing this open the service menu of your phone. Scroll down to High temperature property settings and change the default value to ON.
Now turn off your phone. Wait for about 15-20 seconds and then turn it on again.
When your LG G2 boots up, you should experience smoother UI on it. Moreover, it will also solve the lag issue in the camera app. Enjoy!

In case any of the above codes do not work for you (it is reported not working on Verizon and AT&T variants), there is an alternative method to fix the lag. However, to do that you must have root access on your device. If you do not have a rooted phone, follow our easy rooting tutorial to do that.

Download and install Trickster MOD Kernel Settings app from the Google Play Store.
Launch the app and grant SuperUser permission when prompted.
Slide the app page to the left till you see the Kernel Generals settings.
Under the CPU Governor Control head and change its value from “demand” to“interactive”.
Now reboot your devices and get ready to enjoy faster performance and better battery life on your LG G2. If you are having overheating issue on your phone, it should also be fix along with lag.

Download the latest nightly of CM10.1 from the CM Downloads page.
then you also Download Google Apps.
Connect Samsung Galaxy S3 to PC via USB, then mount your storage
Once you manage access f your phone SD card Copy all downloaded zip files to the SD card of your phone. and very Important do not extract any file now.
Once you finish file transfer procedure Disconnect USB and turn off your phone.
Boot into ClockWorkMod recoveryor we can call it recovery mode in your Galaxy S3 by pressing and holding Volume Up, Home and Power button together till you see Samsung logo on screen.
Release all three buttons for half a second and hold them again. You will see ClockWorkMod recovery screen. Use Volume keys to browse between options in recovery while using Power key to select an option.
Perform a Nandroid backup of your existing ROM. To do that, select Backup and Restore, then on the next screen, select Backup again. Go back to the main recovery menu after backup is complete.
Perform the data wiping task. To do so, select wipe data/ factory reset, then select Yes on next screen to confirm your action.
Select install zip from sdcard and then select choose zip from sdcard. After that, Now, locate the cm-10.1-20130308-NIGHTLY-i9300.zip file that you copied earlier in Step 4 and select it by pressing Power button. Confirm installation on next screen and soon the ROM installation procedure start
Confirm the installation by selecting Yes – Install _____.zip on the next screen. The ROM installation will begin.
As soon as the installation process finsh, repeat the step of Select install zip from sdcard .......and then select choose zip from sdcard
but choose gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip instead of ROM zip to install the Google apps package
Once the installation is completed, go back to the main recovery menu and select Reboot System. Now to reboot the device and boot up into the customized Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean ROM CM10.1. The first boot will take time.
